I can't even use it, the tool bar is in the middle of the text box so I can't type anything. Same problem is happening with the text boxes in the forum.

Change the "skin" to IP Board. (Dropdown menu at lower left corner of page).

Yeah...I've been in there a few times. There were some interesting and funny conversations going on, mostly about who's car was faster...

Another reason not to like it: too much ranting about subjects that are off-topic or ***barely*** related to model cars. If I go to a chat room on a model car site, I go to talk about model cars, not to read about what a jerk the moderator is on some other site. The problem with that kind of talk is that someone who talks (types) a lot can dominate the page and cause on-topic discussions to "fall off the page". Chat seemed to be a lot better 2 or 3 months ago. It's just a waste now. Too many teenagers who lack focus. The smilies and sound effects only encourage their silly behavior.

A chat room is what you make it, and you're right, it does depend upon who's in and what they're discussing when you enter, but you can always change the subject. I prefer to talk about models, too, but sometimes you just have to jump in and join the conversation.

The chat room really isn't that different than the forum, but it is a much faster pace, which some don't like...but some do. To each their own, but it's still a great resource for those who know and/or want to take advantage of it.

I've checked to see who is in there everyday since it came

back. Haven't entered cause it seems that it is always the same

5 or 6 guys in there chatting. I don't realy pay any attention

to what those 5 or 6 say in the forum so I know I don't want

to hear it in the chatroom.
