Pete J. Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Yup! Wrinkled paper, that's the ticket! Don't bother looking at the car, just check out the surounding area. Hey I'm back to 100%. 1 for 1.
JamesW Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 DANG, my ROM winning streak has come to a failing END.
kingiguana Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 The reflection in the wheel gave it away for me. It looks like a flannel shirt sleeve, and the camera man's shoulder.
Harry P. Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 Here's another Voisin, a C20. Pretty funky, if I do say so myself. Voisins were definitely "different"...
Stang67 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Not boring I'll say that...Chock up another one!! Gotta get with the other game.
Pete J. Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) Here's another Voisin, a C20. Pretty funky, if I do say so myself. Voisins were definitely "different"... Wow! I think that is just weird. Looks like the someone did a poor job of chopping and channeling the passenger compartment and did nothing to the engine area. Love the big cooler on the running board. Perfect for keeping my Perrier cool. Very typical French weirdness. Thanks for the look. Edited May 16, 2010 by Harry P.
Joe Handley Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Is it me, or would all it take to make that thing look like a rat rod would be to let it rot in a field for a decade?
Jim Gibbons Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Final vote: 30 REAL, 25 MODEL. Which means I gotcha!!! It's a MODEL! Specifically, a 1/10 scale model of a 1923 Voisin Laboratoire C6, a strange-looking car that actually ran at LeMans that year. Pretty much all Voisins were weird cars, this one is no exception! Auto ID Quiz coming MONDAY! Well, at least I got the model part right. Guessing it to be a Bugatti wasn't too far off; typical Gaellic oddness. If I recall, it was a Voisin in the movie "Sahara" based on Clive Cussler's book.
