70mach1 Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Revell kit. Refinished in BASF lacquers, clear coated in DuPont urethane clear. Engine wired and plumbed.
old-hermit Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Beautiful! What are the strap like shapes hanging below the bumper? If my guess is correct, they are ground straps. Guess I'm telling my age just knowing that. Ooops, almost forgot, VERY nice build. I love 59's.

Duntov Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Cool!!!! Reminds me of one of the very old AMT Box Art cars of the late fifties and early sixties......NICE WORK!!!
Harry P. Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 They are grounding straps. Nice work, BTW... very clean, very cool...
W-409 Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Very good looking X-frame Chevy! I'm diggin' these. In the garage, there is one '60 Impala Coupe. Only one thing, originally Chevy's 348'' was orange. But it doesn't matter too much, this is just nice! Good detail and nice paintjob. Is this the original Monogram's kit or Revell's lowrider kit...?
