edward smith Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Went with the Olds, details are too nice, AMX is nice because is rare but Olds looks much better.
RJWood Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 This is my Wild Bee (69 Super Bee)... I had a lot of fun building this car... This is an awesome build. I love all the little added details. Great job Brizio.
highway Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 The due date was June 1, 2010. People who signed up for the build knew that and should have been ready. I'm not trying to start a fight, Jim, but the reason I said that I'm waiting for more entries is that some may not have the ability to be online every day. I believe Eelco mentioned that as well, some of the entrants may only come on once a week or so, so they may not even post their finished builds until this weekend. I, like I said, am not trying to start a fight, and for those who have posted vote, that is your choice, and I respect that. I'm just holding my vote until more entrants post so everyone has a fair chance.
crazyjim Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I'm not trying to start anything either. It's just that a due date was set. What if a big show was coming up and I wasn't finished. Would they hold up the show for me? I'd like to see all the builds, but is it fair to those that finished on time?
Nick Winter Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I built 2 semi detailed Muscle cars in the 6 Months (I think) I had problems and had to put them aside due to problems in life and time issues but I managed to build 2 pretty nice cars in that time.
Greg Cullinan Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Oh June 1,2010,my bad. Tough choices on voting ,I'm really stumped. They are all beautiful but one or two are ridiculous(in a good way)
Wayne Buck Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 (edited) Here's my late entry. I couldn't really find the time to finish it by 6/01 so I spent the past few late nights rushing to get it finished. This was one of those builds that fought me every step of the way and I wasn't really interested in so it was kind of hard to finish, but here she is. My Camera killed it's last set of batteries while I was taking the final shots, so the chassis shot is an older "in progress" one. I just wanted to get the car posted before it was WAY too late. If I get a chance to get some batteries, I'll take more pictures and replace these. They didn't seem to turn out too good. The picture in the reflection came out better than the car itself. lol Maybe too bright out for the white? Edited June 4, 2010 by NJ-Wayne
Corvette.Jeff Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 my elky is out of the running, when i moved the body got crushed i lost alot of built models
highway Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 This was one of those builds that fought me every step of the way and I wasn't really interested in so it was kind of hard to finish, but here she is. How did this build fight you, Wayne? I built one a few years ago, and I don't really remember any problems with it.
David@MinidreamsInc. Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I ready like your build up on the AMX the wheels and color really look era correct. Great looking ANX . I agree! Very nice !
Matt P Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 First off, so far all the entries look sweet, and I admire all of you who were able to finish your builds. Secondly, my 66 Chevelle entry isn't ready, as I just started it this week. I apologize to Eelco and the rest of the forum for not completing the build in time.

Oh, I guess I shoulda phrased that differently. Not really any problems with the kit (except it was missing a headlight lens and I got it as a sealed kit). My first mistake was painting it with white testors enamel. I painted it about 2 weeks after the build started and I can still sink my nails into it very easily. Also, no matter how clean I thought my hands were, I made several colored marks that "soaked" into the paint and were hard to get rid of. The bare metal foil that I used on it didn't seem like the stuff I'm used to. It was pretty thick and the glue on it seemed terrible. Anyone else have a problem with the "new and improved chrome"? It was just one of those builds that nothing goes right on. Nothing wrong with the kit. I thought it was pretty nice, really. Edited June 5, 2010 by NJ-Wayne

charlie8575 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I really wish I had been able to finish my Pontiac, space/time/family/employment all conspired against me so it didn't. I do want to try and get it done before month's end though, just on principle. It's about 75% done, I need to put the interior together and do the final assembly and detail painting. Charlie Larkin
