Old Coyote Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 ...... one of my favorite cars from my hometown of Amarillo, Texas was Roger Allred and Marvin Clarke's record holding D/D ......... powered by a pair of 310 cubic inch GMC fuel injected inline six cylinders, it was a sight to see (and hear) The model combines a Two Much chassis, a shorty body from Altered States, and a pair of "Jimmys" from J&S resins
Wayne Buck Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Now THAT is really neat!! I love it! Great Job! Just out of curiosity, do you know what it ran in the 1/4?

Old Coyote Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 Just out of curiosity, do you know what it ran in the 1/4? If my old memory serves me correctly, it ran in the low 9's right at 150 mph ....... and that was at Amarillo's 3,700 foot altitude
