justin2020 Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 This is to go with the 1950's Fiat 500D that I built for her. She was really happy with it. So that really makes me happy. Let me know what you think. Justin http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0Eat3LdwxYsWFt&emid=shareprintviewer&linkid=link5&cid=EM_sharview

Foxer Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I'd love it if my even had a clue that I might like one of those!
Romell R Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) I think your wife must really love you,..... If I tried to give my wife a model for any occassion I'd be sleeping on the couch for a month. On the other hand very nice build though. Edited June 29, 2010 by Aftashox
puddingwrestler Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Groovy! I thought about buying one of the real things, but found that the retro design shape compromised the comfort (I'm 6'3" and it was rather cramped), so I couldn't justify the asking price, especially sice most of my trips are around the two hour mark.
Greg Cullinan Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Nice build on a cool little subject. Thanks for the idea,I'm going to buy my wife a few kits, some paint and p/e for her b-day this year and I will assemble them for her gift next year
Modelmartin Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 "My wives B-Day Gift" Ok now, what did you get for your other wives?
David G. Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I can see why she would like it, it's kinda cute and looks a bit like a shoe! Seriously, it looks really good. One of my favorite things is to build kits for others as gifts, etc. It's a good way to step out of the ol' comfort zone and build for the sake of the build.
justin2020 Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 Thank you everyone for the great comments. However please understand that this is not the only thing she got for her birthday, if it was I would not be writing this out right now. This was her surprise gift that I did for her. She still got a gift card , a dress, and a pair of shoes. Thanks again Justin
