HI:

This is the final product of a Gia bodied roadster build up I posted in the work bench section about a month back. This is the Mr. Hobby Coupe / Roadster kit. This is a curbside with just a few subtle modifications. Here is what is in it:

· Fujimi aftermarket wheels and tires

· Narrowed front and rear axles by 4mm on each corner

· Dropped the front axel 6mm (rear was left at stock height)

· Seats are from the Tamiya new Beetle kit

· Paint is Tamiya Pearl Green sprayed from the can

· New exhaust tips to simulate larger engine

· Built a new hard boot out of the kit item with .060 half round to fill the gap

· Rebuilt the interior door panels from styrene and used kit items to detail

· Photo etched brake and clutch pedals (can’t see them in the pics though)

· Aftermarket license plate

That’s it for now…….hope you enjoy this one as much as I did building it. This is a very nice kit and worth picking up if you want to do a quick curbside that lends itself well to modifications.

Regards

Bill (Duntov)

The wheels perfectly match the beautiful curves of the car. The colour really suits this Karmann Ghia. Great interior detailing. All in all, what a beauty!
