GMP440 Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Was on this resin casters website and they list a 77' Pontiac Can AM coming soon. Anyone know how their resin products are? http://rmrresin.webs.com/nf116.htm
Guest Mustang3.8 Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 I just Google image searched it. Looks like a cool car. I hope it comes with a chassis, and interior. If so, put me down for one.
george 53 Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 RMR makes some REAL nice stuff! I got his 41 Chebby chopped coupe, mastered by our own Steve Zimmerman, The Z man, and it's PERFECT! I also have purchased their Excavator, and it was a VERY nicely cast kit! I've only purchased these two kit from them, but if they're any indication of the quality of their work, I'd Buy from them without hesitation, they're THAT nicely done. AND I WILL be getting that Pontiac Can-Am once it becomes available, caz i'll turn it into a GRAND -AM!!!!! Oh YEAH!!!!!!

It would sure be nice if the resin folks would all post pictures of their products and I am pretty sure that more pictures would result in more sales when people can actually see what they are thinking of buying. I have looked at their site before and they sure doo have some neat stuff but pictures would be a clincher for a few of their kits. Reputation does sell stuff and it's like the Modelhaus - you just know that you are going to get a good product. But with no pictures, I even think twice about some of their stuff. Pictures... we need more pictures guys!
george 53 Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Well, Gary, I think it'll happen, cas he wouldn't have posted coming soon if it wasn't in the works. NOW, just how SOON we see it is ANOTHER question, but yes I DO believe it IS coming! An I'M gonna be gettin one!
MyBradKeselowski Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I've never worked with or built any resin models, but if this 77 Pontiac Can Am is offered I will definetly want 1 or 2...
charlie8575 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Sign me up for one. And the Revell 4-4-2 chassis will go right under it. I believe they were still using the 112" wheelbase on the coupes from 1973-77, all you need is a Pontiac V8 and you're ready to go. Sign me up for one, too. Charlie Larkin
spkgibson Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I'll get a couple when they come out,I have been waiting for SOMEONE to make a mid 70's Pontiac for quite sometime know,After seeing the 73 Grand Am Juha Ario built ,That was featured in the magazine in 96'
scaleautobuilder Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I want 1 or 2 of these, I've always wanted one. Bruce
