gasman Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I was in Micheals today and noticed there's a lot of clearence. 09 Challenger, 68 Charger. 70 Challenger. 57 Bel-Air (the one just released) almost looks like Micheals is going to make there model selection smaller. there are some good buys. I bought the 70 Challenger for $10 bucks.
Eric Stone Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 The stores around here have had some stuff on clearance lately, but nothing that new. I guess I'll have to keep popping in to see what they've got. Thanks for the heads up.
Brizio Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I went Saturday, but there was not clearance... The only Chevy they had was a Black Widow.
85firebird Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 The micheals here always have kits on clearance. They usually do it when they get new kits in. Ive yet to see them make the modeling section smaller. Its usually just new inventory.
highway Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 The funny thing about my local Michaels, the new kits are usually around $19.99, and the clearance models are usually $19.95!
Tradeshowjoe Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 sign in to Michaels web site. The gave me a 40 off coupon. And I keep getting 50% off coupons on my receipts from them. That makes 2 for 1 deals nice on special projects. I am planning a charger with a Viper engine. I got the Viper kit at 50% off. Then I fell in love with viper kit (nice as a Japanese kit). I was going to resin cast the engine so I could build both. Then I got another 50% off, it was cheaper to get another viper kit than to cast a second engine. Thanks Michaels.

HI, Just picked up a revell caddy STSv for 6.49. Neat TVs and cool carbon fiber decal. Steve
route66modeler Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Hi, Also, FYI: Michaels takes Joann Fabric 50% off coupons. Use them all the time. You can signup for Joann's mailer one line. Steve
