coopdad Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I think I would sand the terminals down a little shorter before you paint it. Otherwise, great job! John
rdgracer71 Posted July 21, 2010 Author Posted July 21, 2010 pretty cool, do you have more builds from scratch? heres a few things ive scratched built.... cb for cooters tow truck, its not finished yet.. tow truck bed for my current build push bar for general lee build I think I would sand the terminals down a little shorter before you paint it. Otherwise, great job! John well your right but there made from paper clips. so i may have to cut them instead....
charlzrocks Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Until you paint it and detail it, the battery just looks like an old clock radio laying on it's side! LOL! Just kidding, it looks right on!
MoparWoman Jamie Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) that bed is cool Yea, his and mine are some what alittle alike, but he's doing good though on his build. Edited July 23, 2010 by m0parman

toplessfury Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 your battery looks real good.so how many forums are you two going to hit with the arguing.i came here because there isnt any.fuss in pm so we dont have to see it.neither of you designed them both of your builds are based off of actual items.just like my dodge truck.so just praise each other on what they have accomplished or zip it.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) Me and David had a talk, things are okay.. we just kinda had afew things criss cross was all. Edited July 23, 2010 by m0parman
Scale-Master Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Just curious, what material is the outside perimeter of the bed “box†made from? Is it wood sandwiched between sheet plastic for example? The pictures don’t tell…
shucky Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I don't like the parts from either of you ... JUST KIDDING! Trying to add some humor here this thread is too serious.
charlie8575 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I think I saw something like this on an episode of "Maury" or "Jerry Springer" I think they did a DNA test to determine who the father was. Not sure you can do that with plastic models though... *almost falling off the couch doubled-over in laughter.* You guys both do nice work. I like the idea of using paper clips for all that stuff. Charlie Larkin

The pictures don’t tell… the sides are styrene with popsicles sticks in the middle...then i used model putty to fill the gaps and let dry and sanded them
