Chuck Most Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 That's way too new to be a '69 (The Scout II didn't come until '72), but if you wanted to convert it into one, THAT would be cool! Cooler still if you made it available in resin.
Chuck Most Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Actually, the Scout II came out in 1971. Yep- '71... why is that 2 so close to the 1 on the keyboard! The old Ertl kits had the '76 style grille, and all the reissues I've seen have the '78-9 Grille (remove the vertical grille bars and it's a '78!)And they all had that weird curve to them! I really like this kit, even though it is a bit crude, and I really can't wait to see how this one turns out!

Space Cowboy Posted July 31, 2010 Author Posted July 31, 2010 Got more work done. I put a trim piece around the back replaced the floor with one from a70 Buick GSX to give me more room for seats also used the dash from a Roadrunner. More coming soon..
