Luis Ayala Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) Finally I managed to finish this one and get some outside pics. It is not as accurate as it should be for a replica stock, but it did turned out real nice and I am very happy with the results. I really enjoyed this kit and after a year off building, I believe this is a good start for me. Hope you like it and Thanks for looking. Edited July 21, 2010 by Papin67

Space Cowboy Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Man i like your build. Great detail and a sharp paint job..
W-409 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Nice job on this, that paintjob looks great and smooth. Ford Flathead is very nice engine and you have built it nicely! Interior pictures, please... But that chassis is very nice, only I think those colour choices aren't perfect ones, maybe some black on it would help, now everything is grey or silver... But this is very good looking model from a real nice car, so keep on the good work, these old Fords never die, they just run faster!!!
Guest Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Looks great! Very nice work. Inspires me to get back to work on mine.
charlie8575 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I like it, very nice overall execution. Charlie Larkin
Luis Ayala Posted July 24, 2010 Author Posted July 24, 2010 Thank you all for your comments !!!! I am glad you like it. This was a nice kit to build and I am really happy with the results.
Agent G Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 That really turned out well, beautiful car. I've built that kit once, I really liked it. G
Guest Johnny Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 May not be perfect but it is a nice clean build of a beautiful styled car! I have on that I am building as a replica of one my Granpa owned. Only wish they made a conversion to make it a 54 which is what he had but this will be close enough for me!
Terry Sumner Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Very nice job. I like how you've taken care of the basics and got rid of all the seam/mold lines. The paint is nice...looks like it's been buffed out...no orange peel showing. About the only suggestion I have would be to put a bit of flat black on the windshield blades. That chrome blade would surely scratch the heck out of the windshield right? LOL
