Len Woodruff Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 How would I do ouline pictures of cars? I am building a new website for our club and would like a back ground like this. I don't know what it is called. Here is a sample from GSL. GSL Site
Zoom Zoom Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 You either find them on the internet, illustrate them yourself, or get someone to do the illustrations. There's no "magic pill" simple solution unless you can find those kind of line drawings of the particular cars you are interested on the 'net.
Steve Keck Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Len, try http://www.google.com/images?q=auto+outline+clipart&hl=en&safe=off&gbv=2&tbs=isch%3A1&imgtype=i_similar&sa=X&ei=bJpNTKzDOoq8sQPOp9hI&ct=img-sim-l&oi=image_sil&resnum=1&tbnid=at83Yn_BHwM8fM:
roadhawg Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 While it's not EXACTLY the same as what you're looking for, some photo-editing software programs have effects features that can make a photograph look like a pencil drawing.
Brett Barrow Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Stock photo sites have them. Try iStockPhoto, StockPhoto Pro, BigStockPhoto, etc... they should have categories for line-art or illustrations, or vector art.
Len Woodruff Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Thanks again for everyone's help. I have a lot of work to do.
Stang67 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 (edited) Corel PhotoPaint can do some outlining. If you put the photo on here I can run it through or pm me, I'll give it a shot. Those are hand drawn illustrations on that cover. As someone mention about the clip art also. Edited July 27, 2010 by Stang67
