I finished this today. It was project of about four days. I had one Mercury Cougar, wich was a good car for this... First I took it a part and primered the body. After that, I painted it with Motip flake-red. I thaught that it's not good if I only paint the body... So I designed to build it 80's style Finnish Hot Rod. I raised rearend of this car. Body came ready and I did some test fit. It was good but something missed... I made mud flaps from paper, and I drew a USA flag to them. Sidepipes are made from tin. Interior was boring, so I painted the seats white, but like that you can see the black through that white paint. Steering wheel is made from tin and MIG- velding wire...

This is great Niko - I like the scratch work you did particularly the mud flaps. That's a good idea to use the wire for side pipes.

That turned out well, I'll have to try my hand at one of these some day.

Yes, I'm happy too for the finished product. :) It's quite fun to buid these Hot Wheels, my next project will be also 80's style. B)
