Chuck Most Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Here's my latest VW rat, based loosely on a Revell Convertible Beetle body, set up on a scratchbuilt frame, and powered by a 1.6 liter Scirocco engine. The rest is all leftover junk from the spares box.
Jim Gibbons Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 (edited) Here's my latest VW rat, based loosely on a Revell Convertible Beetle body, set up on a scratchbuilt frame, and powered by a 1.6 liter Scirocco engine. The rest is all leftover junk from the spares box. Yet another really cool build! Speaking for myself, I'd like it if you did a tutorial some time on your weathered paint finishes. I know some basics, but yours are some of the more realistic ones I've seen. Thanks for sharing these. Edited August 28, 2010 by Jim Gibbons

Dr. Cranky Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Chuck, you've become a rat monster. Man, you are building some nice stuff, and pretty steady too. The eye candy is flying all over your bench.

Guest Johnny Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I could have never dreamed the Bug Vert kit could build up to look that good Chuck! Another fantastic looking creation! Hope you enter some of them in contests/shows! They have to draw a lot of attention if nothing else people trying to figure out what the heck they are!!!

bigmikevee Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Hey Chuck, Whoa, don't know what to call this one, like your ideas on the names, but the first thing I thought of when I saw the fins was "Shark-Rat", but I have suffered a concussion or two. Thanks for posting, this one looks great!!!!!!! Mike
