ewaskew Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) This was her first glue kit so I did help her with the paint, details and decals. However she did all the body prep. Primer,Red body paint up to the final coat, then I wet sanded it,and clear coated it for her, because at that stage it is to easy to sand through your final coat of paint. And she worked very hard to get it right and I did'nt want her to get discouraged. She assembled all except bumpers, lights. This was the most enjoyment that I have had building models since I started at age 9. Thanks for looking she will be building more, and the next one she builds will be her 100% start to finish. Guest Johnny Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 That's it! I quit!!! Now I'm being shown up by a 12 year old GIRL!!! Oh the shame of it all!!! That is really cool! She did an awsome job even if she did have a little help! We all had to get started somewhere! She was lucky enough to have an experienced builder there to help guide her through it! She should be proud!
Harlow Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 That's cool! I'm currently helping my son build his first glue together model of a 69 camaro.
