Connecticut State Trooper killed...

To all of my friends here...please say a prayer or have a kind thought for the family of Trooper First Class Kenny Hall, who was killed yesterday on I-91 in Enfield. He was on a routine traffic stop, sitting in his cruiser when another vehicle plowed into the back of his cruiser killing him. Kenny came on the job in 1988 and started at Troop D, the same Troop that I started at. RIP Ken.....

When a police officer dies in the line of duty, it's always troubling. When it happens this senselessly, it's sickening.

That's sad to hear, and it would not surprise me if the driver who killed him was either talking on the phone or texting while driving. If that was the case, it's just one more reason to outlaw using cell phones while driving! My prayers to his family and his extended law enforcement family.

Condolences to your brothers, friends, and family in CT. Always saddening to here of one of our own going down in the line of duty, serving his citizens. It always hits home, and sometimes closer than others. Thoughts and prayers.
