Chuck Most Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Great reference for that new Time Machine SSII Trankit I have ordered!
charlie8575 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Interesting. Are those doors factory like that? Charlie Larkin
cargostar Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Yes, there was an SSII option available from '77-'79 SS stood for Safari Scout, and was a bare bones Scout without top, doors or interior carpeting. Over the years, the misconception is that SS stood for Super Scout, but, it was originaly Safari. Other than the items deleted, IH added the door inserts, and a grill overlay to an otherwise stock Scout.
Mr mopar Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I have never seen this kit! that is cool.
cargostar Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 There is one more version of the Scout kit. It has a yellow Scout on the box. It has the '77-79 grill from the off road kit, with the stock components (seats and exhaust) from the '76 kit. It is the version that has been re-issued.
