R & D Unique

What happened to (the old) R & D Unique? My links show a die-cast site now, not the cool parts and trans-kit site. Anyone have a link for the old style parts site?

Thanks Jim. That's the place. All my old links (even the links on this site)and a search kept getting that die-cast site.

I tried ordering from the last year and received an e-mail from the owner that they were no longer making parts.

I have run into a lot of sites like taht recently. Most of the link sites don't check their lists very often. A lot of dead links.

BTW, whats the deal with auto atomix? Their site still says on-hold until they can fill backorders.

Unfortunately Tony's going through a divorce that forced him to close R&D. He was even in the process of building an out-building to convert to his shop.

Unfortunately Tony's going through a divorce that forced him to close R&D. He was even in the process of building an out-building to convert to his shop.

As John said. Two things happened that caused Tony to close shop. First, the Hobby Shop he was collocated with expanded into his space and caused him to need to move. Then the divorce cropped up and he needed to close up until that settles down.

Tony is an exceptionally great person and I hope he can get by these hardships and get back in the game again. Hopefully, he might post an update here.

My biggest concerns are for his well being and for his children. Hopefully things will work out

I'm real sorry to hear of the divorce . Tony was e-mailing me on my personal e-mail and we were dicussing the construction phases of the current Twin Chimney , ( Crown Central Petroleuem ) service station I'm desperately trying to get done . I havent written him in months as my mother suddenly passed away last month and my son has had some real difficulties going back to beginning of last summer . Hopefully things will get better for all of us ! Ed Shaver
