sjordan2 Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 And people think I'M lazy! Well, I am, but still... It's going to be a long time before this becomes a rat rod, Chuck. (Okay, it looks Photoshopped to me, but I got this in e-mail and I thought it was funny.)
Chuck Most Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Just 'guestimating' the distance, I'd say my house and mailbox are way further apart than the lighthouse and boat! And no, I don't use my car to check the mail! Maybe I should- looks like a good way to save wear and tear on the car if you're just using it to traverse your driveway!
Modelmartin Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 If it were true, the salty air would rust that puppy out really bad! Just for giggles I did the math. The trip from dock to house( I guessed about 200 feet)would have to be done once a week in order for the car to have 50 miles on it.
Harry P. Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 It must be nice to have a daily commute with no traffic...
Foxer Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 If it were true, the salty air would rust that puppy out really bad! hahaha .. Andy lives in the North as I do .. exact question I had!
The Modeling Hermit Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 The arguments over who gets to drive would probably take longer than the commute.
Gregg Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 My luck I would get rear ended... and the guy would have no insurance.... and State Farm would deny my claim..... AGAIN!!!!!
Jon Cole Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 That's just not fair. At least stick a traffic light in the middle.
