freightshaker Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Hey Guys! Soo after 4 weeks of working on it my Freightliner FLC is finished. Its pretty much Box Stock except i made my attempt at a scratch built drop visor , 8" exhaust tips and bumper poles.. the stacks and poles came out pretty good the visor is ok I might have to remove it and try again. Tell me what you think of it.. I think its the nicest I've built so far.. All comments Welcome! Here she is. And to top it all off i just got an old Diamond Reo kit from EBAY.. the price seemed decent..
Turbo590 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Not too shabby... Turned out nice Kurt McLucas
cowboysevens Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 very nice job!! super clean lookin rig, are ya gonna put a trailer behind it? dennis
Jim B Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Quite nice. The visor didn't turn out all that bad.
freightshaker Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 Hey thanks guys I'm glad you like it. It took me a while with my work schedule I tried to do alittle bit each night.. I find if I take my time and do it that way, I dont get frustrated or try to rush through it.. I think this one is my pride and joy tho haha. And yes I'm putting a wagon behind it I'm waiting til the re-released Fruehauf 40' Van comes out here at the end of the month. I'll probably go with a potato hauling trailer to keep that outlaw independent theme to the truck.. where I come from its all scrap haulers, stone haulers or tater trucking. Thanks again guys!
codie27 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Very nice build. I really like these Freightliners, I'm hoping to get a hold of one and build it like the one from Terminator 2 that was carrying the trailer full of liquid nitrogen. Great work!!
Kostas Parchas Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Beautiful... The first picture confused me, I thought it was the real truck lol. Kostas.
