davyou5 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I did like the design of the Porche 911, And the Lambo, but that's about it .
Junkman Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Gosh, I just was eating. Where is the vomit smiley? Something beautiful, quick, quick: http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2010/09/26/automobiles/collectibles/20100926-spindizzy.html
Chuck Most Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Whoa... when did Sir James Dyson start designing cars? Christian- I always thought there was a vomiting smiley, too! They need to add one for just such occasions. There's plenty of room on the emoticons screen for one!
mredzadventure Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Sweet looking lotus http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2010/10/01/automobiles/autoshow/20101001-paris-motor-show-10.html
sjordan2 Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 I think some of these comments are too harsh. I would give high marks to: Fisher Karma Lotus Audi Quattro Lamborghini Sesto Jaguar C-X75 Maserati GT MC Stradale Porsche Speedster (except for that ugly hump)
Harry P. Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 A lot of typical over-the-top auto show stuff there. I do like the Smart scooter and bicycle, though!
Modelmartin Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I liked the Citroen Survolt and the new Lambo. They are very dramatic but don't have the gaping maw that several others have. The Jaguar electric car is just goofy, at least mechanically. What does that do to unsprung weight, putting motors in the wheels? It has to handle like a Peterbilt.
charlie8575 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I want to see more of the new Focus before pronouncing judgement, but I don't like the front- too much grille for a little car like that. I do, however, hope they'll bring the wagon back here. One of the Ford dealers here thinks it's a good possibility. When did the Germans learn how to design such beautiful cars? That new Audi is gorgeous. I liked the Range Rover Evoque (or however they spelled it- why can't they just spell normally,) It's nicely proportioned and looks good. I'm not sure about the Porsche, but I like the color. Charlie Larkin
Harry P. Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 When did the Germans learn how to design such beautiful cars? A long time ago...
charlie8575 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 There are always exceptions, Harry. To my eye, anyway, a lot of German cars have been, while not offensive, are, at least to me, cars that won't win beauty prizes. That new Audi, though...wow. Charlie Larkin
Crazy Ed Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 #12 The Electric Bus looks to me like a, Urban Mobile Shower. #17 The Kia Pop Looks like it's already been in a Roll Over Accident. Finally, #22 the Whoop. Being a Male over 50 it sure seems was designed and named for a Vehicle you'd drive home after a Physical Ed
vizio93 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Man that Lamborghini is awesome !!! The Maserati looked about the same as last years though. I do like the lotus too
The Modeling Hermit Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 They had everything from boring to scary except pretty.
Doughnut Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Is it just me, or does the Fiskar Karma look like it was designed by the Joker?
sjordan2 Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 240 more shots: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/gallery/23301/Welcome-to-Paris.html
Chuck Most Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 When did the Germans learn how to design such beautiful cars? That new Audi is gorgeous. A long time ago... And then, they forgot...
Harold Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 That Vipa begs the question- does the world really need a self- propelled porta- potty?
sobpinstriping Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 the only thing cool was the salt flats car other than that it all kinda makes me throw up in my mouth. I just cant stand the new stuff I guess..... cheers mat
