Jamez Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Anybody got blueprints to build them? Or a tutorial. For some reason I just can't bring myself to buy some.... Edited October 12, 2010 by Jamez
Foxer Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 This is a very quick sketch that shows how east these would be to build. Sorry there are no sizes for tubes and dimensions but I did this while in this post. Just gives an idea on how to make one.
Jamez Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 I really don't think they would be hard to build, I am just looking for some measurements to get the scale right. You would think a guy would be able to find something like that on the web somewhere..... I must be looking to hard
charlie8575 Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I remember seeing some at Scale Equipment, Ltd. Charlie Larkin
Jamez Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 After searching for a bit, then not finding anything, measured some up at work, and ended up with this, Just need to get some rod to finish off the pin. I was very surprised that I could not find and plans on the net anywhere to build these. So Hopefully these are good enough for others to want to use, They are not perfect, but shouldn't need much tweaking. Enjoy Everyone!! This was my first attempt at really scratch building anything, so be gentle, but I am happy with the results.... 1. Four of these 2. One of these - reference marks for alignment at gluing - drop down to the 2/32 mark 3. One of these 4. One of these 5. Glue together and hopefully get this. 6. And after some paint. And for some size comparison next to my Chevelle....
ian ashton Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Very cool! Thanks for the measurements, this will make a fun "rainy day" project sometime...
