goldengate man Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Here is one i built for one my local race car drivers from the 1960s thru 1980s , this car was run at a local track in the 70s until the track was closed , and the sat in his back yard until ( well still there ) , and he wont sell it to me to restore . so here is pretty much the way it sits right now.
David G. Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Good diorama. It looks like you have a lot of well done detail, but it's difficult to see it from these wide angle shots. Tighter shots would better show your detail work. From what I can see though, it looks really good.
vaughn Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Pretty cool... for a better perspective and photo, try getting it off the tile floor.

Monte's Motors Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Building all my own 1:1 racers myself, I can really relate to this one. "A back yard dream" When building, I spent as much time in the seat dreaming as I did building. Thanks for showing and thanks for bringing up those memories
Monte's Motors Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Well I had to go find a couple of old pictures. My 2003 (season) Monte Carlo (top) and 2005 (season) Monte (lower)
