I need to dull coat over a redline decal placed on the tire(to shiny). What is the best for this.

Somthing like Testors dull coat (hot) or something water based.

Thanks

Same here. I sanded down the the raised lettering & floated the decal onto the tires side wall, dried it off with a paper towel & sprayed it down with with Tester's dull cote.Sorry that the tire shots are at a distance but that was the the best tire shot with dull cote that I have.

I'm also a member of the DullCote fan club. Nothing else works as consistently well, in my experience. And, since that's about all I use it for (making kit tires look like real tires and making satin finish for wheels, etc.), a can goes a long way.
