Nick I'm glad you are taking chances by stepping out there and building fictional cars. Taking chances on cars others would not. Taking chances of getting beat up by a member who has no right. What I'm most proud of is the way you have handled yourself!. I like the car and I like that your keeping your cool. Hang in there and I'm looking forward to the next build.

Charlie, Steve, Clay & Railfreak... We appear to be talking to a wall  I've never seen such dreadful spelling 

I have no idea how old or young, for that matter, this guy is & I don't pressume to know his level of education but if he own's a computer & somehow has managed to use it, then my advice to him is, invest in some after-work English language classes  A computer's "spell-checker" is only as good or as useful as the person using it 

I for one would question his modelling skill/abilities if they are anything like his spelling/comprehension... & I certainly wouldn't be taking any advice off him... 

Nick.. Keep at it mate... Patience is a virtue 

Cheers Cliffo 

No, I was talking to you. Everyone makes mistakes every so often. Your spelling is just laziness. There is no excuse for it. Just because you use spell check doesn't mean the word is right. Spell check tries to match the word you typed to what it can and in your case it isn't the right word at all. Try harder next time. Nick, I am sorry your thread got turned into a spelling war.

I am sorry some self appointed word police made a issue of my spelling and then created the so-called spelling war that I am not fighting in. 2 bad they have 2 blame me when some of them dont spell prefect but have no problem scolding me. (did U have 2 edit that when U noticed their was a spelling mistake clay?) B) and sickfish if U looked around U wood see I build very good.look at my posts! :D why do you think nick asks for my advise? ThanksJimmy! :P

Yes, I made a mistake, it happens. Yours on the other hand, are not mistakes, because I see that you spell like that on purpose. As far as word police, it is common courtesy to to fully type out what you want to say on a forum. This is not instant messaging or texting. That is all I am going to say about that. I am done with you.

I got to say something else, I wasn't apologizing. So you can go and do what ever it is you were doing before.

Would someone in authority PLEASE ban this Jimmy jerk!! His arrogance AND ignorance is not commensurate with the spirit of this group.

Yeah I gotta agree. He's got a knack for purposely writing (badly, which he knows we've got no tolerance for) things and that push peoples buttons, while claiming all the while he's just trying to be helpful.

Looks good Nick! Your work has improved and I like watching your builds progress! Just slow down a little and keep on building!B)

BTW I was looking for your thread on the big scale T/A and can't seem to find it!

Ditto ! ! !

Cool car, Nick. I like the idea and the overall look.

Get some bright lights and a tripod, or something else to set the camera on, and work on your photos a little.

Pay no attention to baddskillz. I went and looked, and most of his pics are blurry too.

'Conservative' or 'constructive?'

madazzkilzkustumz... Here's some constructive criticism for you... Wood is from a tree, rite is a ritual, hear's is what is heard, ege is not a word, won is when you win something, mask'ed, smooth-ly, touch'ed, paint'ed are all ONE word & an apostrophe is not needed, shoud is not a word, youre is not one word but two ie: you're as in you are, bak is missing the C, lites is lights, straiter should be spelt- straighter & ware should be where- as in a place {quote}

Ur cereshuns kil me :D:D:D Sew, duz ur post meen that he neeedz tu wurk on his speleng? Lyk mabe tayk a cors thru corispodins or sumthyng? B)

just kidding you guys. not trying to add fuel to the fire... B):D:rolleyes: Thats what I like aboutthis place is the honesty and open attitudes! :D:)

Also, the car looks good and we ALL have room for improvement - especially yours truly. I'll say this - it is obvious that you did a fine job and don't kid yourself, even the most seasoned, veteren builds are stilllearning. The fact thatyou asked for opinions says a lot about your character and demonstrates that you want to learn and do better. A fine job.. Building models should be done in the spirit of true sportsmanship - "It isn't whether you win or lose the game - it's how you play and the fact that you do your best that really counts". My hat is off to you for stepping out and building a rather difficult kit and for sharing your workmanship.

O yea. BIG QUESTION. Y is it OK to praise bad work and B mad at any one that says there honest truth full opinion when the guy that made the model asks for honest opinion? :D

Is not saying that it looks good when it looks yucky the same as lying?

Every one says they ask for in put to get better at modles. Butt when I say how to get better U get made at Jimmy not the guy who made a yucky model?! I don't get it. Thanks JIMMY! :)

Sorry. :) I meant 2 post that in the other thread butt I got called for supper and mixed up. My comment is NOT aimed only at Nicks model it is about the general attitude in that other post we were talking in even if it is a reel irony that it fits hear. Thanks JIMMY! :D

... go to your PC, google any of these words, because either of these words is exactly or at least very close to summing up what kind of person you are, young Jimmy.... Imbecile, Dolt, Moron or Cretin. By the way if you don't know what Illiterate mean's look that up too 

That's pretty outrageous language for an alleged adult to hurl at a youngster. Regardless of what you may think of Jimmy, he doesn't any more deserve those kind of slurs than any other person using this board. Even including those who hurl those kinds of incendiary slurs at others. Disagree with someone, fine. Dispute something they say/type, fine. But do so respectfully and without immature name-calling.

Gregg please ban all the people calling me names –it is against you’re rules- and if you do that I will try harder too write better. See I used all words like you asked without letters and numbers.

I am proud of my workmanship I know I build good - what is wrong wth that? Other people brag more then me and are not called : arrogant Imbecile, Dolt, Moron or Cretin or Illiterate. I did look those words up an you sickfish should be ashamed of your self.

Would you call any kid you know those names to his face with his parents around? I do not think so. You only do it hiding behind a computer. I think you owe Jimmy a apology.

I am only joshing about banning those people who call names at me butt they should not do that because I NEVER called any one any names even after they called me. Maybe they should build models instead of being name callers? B) Thanks JIMMY!

care fully written and spell checked by JIMMY!
