crazyjim Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Happy Birthday to the greatest fighting force the world has ever seen. SEPMER FI. If you're in the WAshington, DC area, we'll be celebrating the USMC birthday at Froggy Bottom Pum on Pennsylvania Ave. Start about 8:00pm. Cake cutting (youngest & oldest) singing, ext. with Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghan Veterans and anyone else who would like to partake. It's gonna be good.
Agent G Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Oh how happy I am to have spent another day in the Marine Corps, where every day is a holiday and every meal a feast. sjordan2 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I was just an Army desk jockey, but my appreciation goes out to the Marines, especially on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11.

mikemodeler Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Happy Birthday Marine Corp! As a father to a JROTC Marine Corp cadet, I know how pround he makes me when he is in uniform and the leadership he is learning. Thanks to all past, present and future Marines for all that you have done and are willing to do in the pursuit of freedom for all. Here is to another 235 years!
sjordan2 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 (edited) Not just Veteran's Day, Today is the Marine Corps Birthday. No disrespect intended. November 10th is the Marine Corps anniversary, but November 11 is Veterans Day, to honor all service branches. My comment was intended to include all those who served and to note the proximity of the Marine Corps anniversary. Edited November 10, 2010 by sjordan2

As a former PLC graduate I say Gung Ho! My lovely wife of one year had a steak dinner waiting and presented me with several kits as birthday presents. Man this one really "gets it". I'm done with the first bottle of wine as of this writing, and ready to Charlie Mike with the second. My boss is gonna S@#% when I drag my sorry a$$ in tomorrow still, ahem, "under the influence" HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES!
mikemodeler Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Wayne, Sounds like you got a keeper, enjoy the evening and to hell with the angry boss!
