Rick Schmidt Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Finished up my F250 a few days ago. Built it pretty much box stock except making new wheels and doin a body lift on it this shot shows how high the body was lifted off the frame And a comparison during build up next to the stock height 350
whale392 Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Needs a nice trailer to go on behind it. Looks good sitting like she does!
Chuck Most Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Looks like my old truck, only not as rusty. Very nice!
MyBradKeselowski Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Beautiful looking F250 I like the color combo...
dmattera Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I was planning on making this model, but to look like my first truck I had, it was a 1992 Ford F250, with a standard cab and manual transmission. I was thinking of removing the extended cab part, and building from there. I saw yours and wondered what struggles or really anything I might want to know before starting and if anyone had advice for it. Im not very experienced with models, only been doing it for a few years so any help is great. Thanks!
mk11 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Nice clean build; and you nailed the attitude. Looks great! mike
Rick Schmidt Posted November 4, 2013 Author Posted November 4, 2013 Wow Forgot all about this post Looks like I even missed a few posts back when it was current. The Wheels were made with a set of rims and swampers I bought I cut the centers out narrowed the outer rim fit the center back in and put a new center cap on Truck still sits on the shelf but has a load on it now Daniel to answer your question you should find the AMT kit It represents the body you need. If you do choose to use this truck it builds up fairly easy but you will need to solve the wheel problem it has. The kit comes with 5 lug wheels
Platerpants Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 That Camper? Great Job on the truck man.
