Pete J. Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 I find it interesting that no matter how large or small a space we seem to have, when it comes to actual model building space we all seem to use an area no larger than about 18"X12". Everything else is just a place to set stuff we are not using at the moment
DRG Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 It's rather small, especially compared to some, but it works for me.
BigBlockLyle Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Heres my workbench. Workbench A.K.A "The Chop Shop" by my friends in the local model club. And my stash, small compared to most, but Im working on it.
Greg Cullinan Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Here is mine,it is my garage converted. I wish my kits were on display instead of put away in Tupperware containers and in a closet. It is a bit of a drag to pull them out but I guess they are safe. My old spray booth. This is before I invested in containers, there is five now.
bajaboy5b Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 to bring a kinda old thread back from the dead anyone want to post the work rooms?
Scott Colmer Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 I am so stoked to have a place to build again. A few of my projects have been un packed, while the collection says boxed up waiting for the time when I can build the shop we have been dreaming of. Here is a history of work spaces. Wish I had a pic of the drafting board in the converted closet I used after college. 2011 Hosted on Fotki 1999 - 2010 Hosted on Fotki 1968 - 1982 (The desk stayed, but the walpaper changed in 1978.) Rinseman Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Here's my workbench. It's small, because my place is small, but I'm just getting back into the hobby, so it'll work. I'm buying supplies as I need them, as there's basically zero storage. This is also where I run my business part time, so I need to keep it relatively neat. When I was a kid, I always dreamed of having a wall full of Nerf guns. So, 10 year old me... we did it. Small area under the stairs where I keep my tools. For models, and restoring old furniture. My huge stash. More to be added soon when my Christmas present to myself ships from HobbyLinc. That's it. I'm new here. My name's Kyle
