CaptainAhab Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 (edited) Just finished the Monogram '56 Chevy. Its my second model back into the Hobby since I was about 10 and I'm so glad I came back to this great hobby. Even though it took sooo much longer than I thought it would, it was a blast! She's Painted with Boyd's Candy Purple Pearl and I added Side pipes with different wheels and tires. Also, this is my first take at bare metal foil and wiring a distributor. Any advice/comments left would be helpful! Thanks for lookin'. Edited November 30, 2010 by CaptainAhab
crowe-t Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Joe, You did a great job on this build. I like the flat black hood and the stance in the rear.
Jantrix Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I'd love some better photos. Check on the macro function in your camera's how-to book.

Bluzboy66 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 NICE! The '56 is my favorite tri-5, and you certainly did that one justice. Looks exactly like the street machines I grew up seeing on the street.....late 70's style. Awesome. Mike
CaptainAhab Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 Thanks man! I agree..the 56 is def the most aggressive And Charlie... Ill bring it to the meeting, as long as u bring something finished too!
