Rotator cuff isn't necessarily an old age surgery. I had one about 30 years ago.

Hey Walt - just take your time and heal. A friend had rotator cuff surgery 4 months ago and didn't do what he was told by the doc. Last week he went in to have his shoulder replaced - not good! He doesn't build models.

Just had hip replacement surgery 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to 2 more months of model building time. Too bad the "man cave" is in the basement. Can't do stairs yet, the better half thinks I should wait. She's afraid I might fall. :) Gotta remember, if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Correct; can also be caused by traumatic injury to shoulder. I had one 18 years ago while fighting a housefire; two+ story chimney collapsed on me ... direct hit to left shoulder.

Following the surgery, I did everything the doc and physical therapists asked. No major problem since, so pay attention, Walt!

Glad it went well.

Great, hope you have a quick and "painless" recovery. Getting old does stink.

But it beats the he..heck out of the alternative. Remember, it's better to be over the hill than under the hill.
