I've been working on these two as of late. The Tee is in its 3rd incarnation, once wearing cragars, a tunnel ram, and aqua paint, and also an attempt at vintge box art. The 32 is ready for final assembly, but that is not my strong point so I'm procrastinating. I might just have to suck it up and finish the thing before the end of the year.

As MUCH as I like the "New" 32 coupe from Revell. Those little 32's that AMT made are special in my heart! They're the FIRST of the 25th scale kits i ever had! The 32 coupe was the second kit i ever built!. It's NICE ta see this old warrior lookin GOOD on the table again! The little T is cool too. Is it a Parts Pak Build or did you do it Old school? You know just stuff out your parts box???? Either way, they BOTH lookin REAL good!!!

I've got a soft spot for the old 32's also! That Tee is mostly from the AMT release awhile back with the rod and stock versions on the boxtop. The chassis is all stock except for the draglink which I'm scratching. The front tires are from ebay while all the wheels and the slicks are off the re release of the double dragster. The body is from the Tee, chennelled in back, and I just eyeballed the placement of the pickup box to where it looked good. I made the floor frm plastic for sale signs and the rollbar is straight out of the parts pack. The engine was more work...Im lousy at engine mounts, so I used a Ford block from AMT's 32 vicky, shaved off the front cover and fuel pump, added chavy heads and headers from the parts pack, and called it a chevy! I scratchbuilt the magneto and used detail master ign. wire. I driled holes in the wheels today for valve stems, and will airbrush a couple coats of magnesium metalizer the afternoon. Everything else will be "old school" Thanks for looking!

Both are very cool projects! Shouldn't take much to bring 'em in (to completion), so ... git 'er done! LOL. They will be great little rods. The builds look like fun ~~~ gotta get mine going ~~~ great inspiration!

Cool projects. I'm building '29 Pickup like these are. That engine work looks very good and I'm speechless. Can't wait to see more...

Got the rear wheels painted in magnesium metallizer, slicks sanded, and valve stem ready. Headers painted too. Im having trouble with the front wheels...the AMT Double Dragster moulds are obviously showing signs of wear. I spent a lot of time fist narrowing the wheels to better fit the tires I had chosen, then sanding the face of the rims smooth and making sure they were concentric. Looked OK after primer, but when I sprayed on the metalizer, they looked awful. They are in the stripper, and I'll give it another shot.I may have to add some putty to get rid of the sink marks.

I got some more done on the Tee. Metalizer magnesium, buffed, valve stems on the wheels, and sanded the slicks.

I finished the headers in Aluminum Plate metalizer, shaded with Tamiya Bronze.

And here's an overall shot with a scoop from Reliable Resin. I've got an Enderle scoop and injector coming from Ed Fluck at Drag City Castings, and might use that one instead.
