Blake Rogers Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) ok come into the chat room an she is a 1955-F100 Edited December 15, 2010 by Blake Rogers
Chuck Most Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 It looks like a cut-down '56 grille to me, with the Desoto teeth underneath. The cab looks '53-'55. If I were going to build it, I think I'd use the AMT Trophy Series '53 F-100 (NOT the flipnose!) and raid a grille from a Revell '56 F-100.
Blake Rogers Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) ya i figured you guys would explain it better then me lol so there craig liked i said not to hard the inside looks easy to and rims look familiar only the vent the seems like it would take some time to do a little more info http://content.usatoday.com/communities/driveon/post/2010/08/west-coast-customs-makes-trucks-for-the-expendables/1 Edited December 15, 2010 by Blake Rogers

Greg Cullinan Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 I used to be bedable in my younger days. Would be a nice build about a year Go they built three of these trucks on the speed channel. Said it was for an upcoming movie they couldn't reveal. I forget the show, sorry.

MikeMc Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) Here....Drool...Google Foose Pickup.....it was built on overhaulin.... Then Google 1953 and 1956 F100 pickup....slight differences in the vent windows triangular are 53-55 56 is rectangular Edited December 15, 2010 by Stasch
dougp Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 The truck was built by West Coast Customs for Stallone. If you can find the episode (it was orginally done on TLC or Discovery then repeats have been running on HDTHR) they cover the entire build. They built 3 trucks. Two to be used for stunt trucks in the movie and one for Stallone personal ride.

dougp Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) Here is a link to the show on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOVnVksCwPU, its in three parts, it helps explain alot of the details like how they created the grille and the hood vents. I wish I had kept my dvr copy I had because I had been thinking about recreating it and the chevy p/u used in the movie Gamer. Edited December 16, 2010 by dougp

Everyone gets to see the old show detailing this build to model! Be sure to see it's actually 6 files. Now I need to see the show with george53 putting my Mopar together so Ican check how the interior of the glove box looks.
