Steve H. Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Its all Mike and Ajay's fault for posting their Caddy builds! Seriously, I need a break from the 32 I've been working on, so I'm hoping to do a weekend build on this. Paint is Tamiya Mettalic Black, over semigloss black, no primer. The interior will be done in Tamiya Nato Black. The wheels are some off brand chinese manufacturer. They measure out to 26", which with a little axle adjustment makes a nice ride heaight (much better than the ridiculous kit wheels!). Too bad they're a 4 bolt lug pattern!
Len Geisler Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Steve, I love it....I will be working on mine this week hope to get it done in a week....HA HA HA.....
Guest roadkill2525 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I like the color, it looks mysterious. Is it a curbside kit? Is there a way to turn it into a stock version? I don't like the wagon wheels on modern cars and the Lambo doors aren't that great.

Look thru previous post to find his regarding this. I think there was also a kit review on it, posted in the appropriate forum. Its a curbside with upper and lower engine plates, very minimal detail.
Mike Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 HOLY :!: :!: :!: :!: THAT THING MEANS BUSINESS!! Simple and completely full of attitude. Love it!!!
GTmike400 Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Looks awesome Hinson, I'm not much for the big rims but those look great tucked under there!
Steve H. Posted March 11, 2007 Author Posted March 11, 2007 Looks awesome Hinson, I'm not much for the big rims but those look great tucked under there! Funny thing is... I don't care for the big rims much, either. But my goal here is to do a mind clearing build, no stress, not much mods, I'm trying to de-bling this as much as possible, though!

Honestly, I'm surprised it doesnt have some flat olive drab paint, with a huge maltese cross on the hood, red-white-and chrome steelies, and a cut out roof with Velocity stacks sticking out of the hood finished off with an exhaust right out of the front fender. Now that I think about that, that sounds badass.
bsoder Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 A quick build....Steve H. Hmmm..me thinks he's been replaced by an alien ..seriously though that is a mean looking Caddy!....B
Steve H. Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 no pics... but I got most of the painting done this weekend. I still need to detail paint the chassis and some interior parts. Oh yeah... I need to clear the body also. I'm hoping to do final assembly late this week!
Jeff Johnston Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 oooohhh that's one sharp looking build. That grey color is super !!!
