Kostas Parchas Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 You know, the only language I can't read or understand is Greek. So I understand english and french, all the rest is Greek to me... Robert its OK with you, The Greek language is very nice but also very difficult and thats because of grammar. I am speaking Greek as a mother tongue, english (I believe at a very good point) and I am about to start learning Swedish. Kostas.

Sergey Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) O-key, let's continue: Now I finished to scratch silencers and air filter inlet pipe: Cut out cab doors: Here is my way to make piano hinges. I used brass angles and 0,8mm brass tubes: Here is my jig to solder tubes & angles. Don't care about blue knob. It was made for rear springs scrach. Pieces of angle are holded in place by stepler pins: Cooper wire (twisted revers side of the jig) is holding the tubes: Edited October 29, 2014 by Sergey
Sergey Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) The result: The spare tube pieces (dark pieces on a previous pic) are filed down: The bullbar: Rear mud flaps will be made of this: Here we can see: abowe - uder cab part of gear shift slot, in a midle - steering linkage cardan between steering column and power steering, on the right - there are vent door handles: Thank you for interest Edited October 29, 2014 by Sergey

Tony Bryan Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Sergey Those parts are getting smaller and smaller, nice work on the detail, Are you using vanish coated wire ?
Sergey Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Thank you, friends! Hey, Tony, I was thinking (scratching my head) about COE clach system and still can't figure out - how mechanic clach could work here? So I desided to make it pnevmatic.
Tony Bryan Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Sergey I don't think that it would be mechanical, and would more likely be air over hydraulic, I will do a bit of researching for you, I do have some old FR700 photo's to have a look through
catd11rpusher Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 I think you have done a very beautiful job, You have done the footwork to a tee, I can't wait until done. You are a very skilled modeler. KUDOS TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Bowtienutz Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I started using a similiar technique for the piano hinges only I used stainless wire to hold the tube in place while I soldered in place. I works much better than any finicky piano hinges from MCG.
