slantasaurus Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Does anyone know where I can find a resin SCoT blower ??? Perferably to fit the Ardun engine from the Revell 50 Ford P/U. Thanks in advance for the help.
Danno Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Norm Veber, Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland, offers a beautiful a beautiful S.C.O.T. blower in resin. No website, but you can contact him at 1-410-768-3648. He advertises in MCM; say you saw it here.
slantasaurus Posted December 25, 2010 Author Posted December 25, 2010 Thanks Danno and thanks for the pic Double D. That looks like a nice build and the blower is just what I'm looking for, might almost be a shame because what I have planned will make it hard to see all of the detail it has.
jbwelda Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 you might also notice in that photo, if you look through the windshield, you can see the reps and mins drilled out aviation seats. totally cool too.
larrygre Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 No doubt about it - Norm does AWESOME stuff, and always has!
Chuck Most Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 The only reason I don't buy more stuff from Norm? My skills won't do his product justice!
george 53 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Crazy Boy, Chuck,. THAT'S how you learn!!! Build UP to his standards! I have that blower set up, and it IS a work of ART! It looks THAT NICE, all Dave did was paint it.
george 53 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Yeah, that didn't come out right, did it? But what I meant, was it LOOKS that nice, just like you built it. Yeah, I know it comes with all the multiple pulley set ups, and figgerin out just HOW to mount them is a job. But CASTING wise, it IS as clean as you show it built! The detail you added is nice frosting, but the casting itself, is just plain beautiful. Sorry bout that, my bad!
