This is one of my favorite race cars. I have always wanted to build it. I finally found a kit on the Bay that wasn't too expensive.

This is the Union re-box of the Heller kit.

Testers "Italian Red" lacquer

Duplicolor "Pure Linen" lacquer

Testers "Wet Look" Clear

Speedline tire markings (the kit didn't have any)

Radio Shack wrapping wire for plug wires.

The rest is box stock

The fit is a little complicated and I had to heat up the rear deck in hot water bend it and put it in cold water to set the reshape.

The rear frame/suspension is very delicate. Surprisingly I didn't break it...

I was so excited to have this kit , I may have rushed it a little but it was a blast to build and I am quite happy with the final product.

Yes...I like this very much. A number of years ago I built this car, but converted it into the Penske Sunoco version. I really do like the true Ferrari red version though. Nice job....I know what a bear that kit can be.

Oh, so THATS what it supposed to look like! I bought this new in maybe, 1968 when it was issued by Heller and found it unbuildable with the skills I had at the time. Great job!!
