Good shot, but wrong era... try earlier ;)

Didn't think it was right because it looked close, but not quite right! B)

Still an eye grabbing car, though. This one caught my eye from across the parking lot at a local car show! B)

Kurtis Kraft 500 S roadster, probably 53

Try this

It's not a Kurtis, I posted a few back?

I think it is a Kurtis 500 S roadster but I am going to say 54.

It does look like the Tatra prototype

"In 1931 the Czech company Wikow produced a car called Kapka (Drop) that attempted a streamlined form."

I suspected Czech Republic but I wasn't coming up with much in the way of references for many cars.

They clearly didn't quite understand aero yet, did they B)

Paul Jaray designed it. He actually did understand aero quite well.

Made it a bit too easy B)

Next time.

Nice work.

You're up.

I didn't mean him specifically, and for his day maybe. However, they really didn't start figuring aero out until the late 60s early 70s and was still very crude by modern standards.

I know I should be a car guy, but sorry, I'am going to stick to the Car Quiz on the other forum. Don't know the stuff that isn't made in North America. Really don't know too much about anything earlier than 1949............
