CAL Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I am thinking its something like a Tatra prototype
publicsafety Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) It does look like the Tatra prototype "In 1931 the Czech company Wikow produced a car called Kapka (Drop) that attempted a streamlined form." Thanks Christopher, you pointed me in the right direction. I was looking at Saab Edited January 26, 2011 by publicsafety

Thanks Christopher, you pointed me in the right direction. I was looking at Saab I suspected Czech Republic but I wasn't coming up with much in the way of references for many cars. They clearly didn't quite understand aero yet, did they SAAB had the goofy black pancake looking thing Edited January 27, 2011 by CAL
keyser Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Paul Jaray designed it. He actually did understand aero quite well. Made it a bit too easy Next time. Nice work. You're up.

I didn't mean him specifically, and for his day maybe. However, they really didn't start figuring aero out until the late 60s early 70s and was still very crude by modern standards.

Brokentail58 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 I have no clue where to even start to figure this one out. Need some clues.
moparfarmer Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 I know I should be a car guy, but sorry, I'am going to stick to the Car Quiz on the other forum. Don't know the stuff that isn't made in North America. Really don't know too much about anything earlier than 1949............
