I can provide shelter down here in Aus., you just need to find a way to get down here.
arick Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Dave, now that you're getting into a bit of internal stuff with things like the flexplate and torque converter, have you given any thought to including a "cutaway" to display what you've done? I'm really enjoying this build!
Z28 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 A mirrored surface to park the machine on would be outstanding! Marty

old-hermit Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 i'm not very good at body work. of course, not liking to do it, doesn't help. Me too !!!!!
W117monte Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Unreal! with your skills If you had a welder and some 1:1 tubing, no doubt you could build a real car.

Erik Smith Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 I like the fact you appear to be obsessive about building scale autos. This is a museum piece - just beautiful. Question regarding renshape - do you hand carve? I have a project I would like to scratch up a Jericho transimission and have used wax before but I am curious how renshape works. Thanks for taking time to post - I check back here regularly hoping for updates
Erik Smith Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Thanks for the info. I am going to do the 5 sp Jerico. I've worked with balsa foam and wax - now I'll try to get my hands on some Renshape.
kyledr330 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 You are a true craftsman!!! OUTSTANDING work! I agree with the other guys, you need your own TV show.
