Guest Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 AMT's Dukes kit with 500 grille, 69 gtx chassis and Fred Cady decals. decals wrinkled and split on me a bit. Recall rims from 69 Cuda kit. Turned aliminum aircleaner, Model Car Garage.
Space Cowboy Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Looking good and a shiny paint job. The Hemi looks at home. Great job.
Chuck Most Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I've built a few of these myself, and I've never been able to wring such a nice replica out of one. Nice job, Lee! I really dig the KH wheels.
crowe-t Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 (edited) It came out great! The 69 GTX chassis is a big improvement over the chassis that comes with the kit. Edited January 8, 2011 by crowe-t
brett Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Really nice build Lee, I like that shade of green and its great to see a charger build that just a little bit different.
Guest Sickfish Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 It's a nice clean build mate but can I ask, where are the exhaust headers? They seem to be missing.. Cheers, Cliffo
Rob Z Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Finally someone built the Dukes kit correctly... LOL This is a really nice looking build, the rims really set it off... Great work...
ChrisPflug Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Only problem is it looks like you followed the (incorrect) instructions from the chassis and mounted the horn on the firewall where the wiper motor would go
Guest Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Thanks guys! I misplaced the wiper motor I had, and since the Chjarger doesnt have the beep beep horn from a road runner, I decided it looked better than nothing there at all, lol. The headers aer there, just hard to see with the huge rocker covers hemi's had.
jphillips1970 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Hey Lee - Another great build - That green really sets the car off - Outstanding - Joe
John Teresi Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Lee.......turned out great.....your detail work is AWESOME man.....very cool.
