Lyle Willits Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 AMT F100, last reissued in the 90's. Chopped 3 inches. Posable steering on IFS from an AMT '34 Ford street rod kit. Wheels from Revell '66 Chevelle wagon kit. Paint is HOK candy lime gold over Duplicolor silver base. Engine from Revell Speedwagon with lots of other parts. Tuck & roll insert made for the stock seat. Gauges from The Model Car Garage. Inner fenders in bed made from old AMT '32 Ford fenders and sheet plastic. Bed woodgrained with Polly Scale paints. Filler piece molded to front of bed to eliminate the large gap. Didn't want just a plain tailgate so I made some scupturing from sheet plastic and putty. PE Ford emblem added. F100 standard grille from the MPC flipnose kit used with the promo headlights drilled out. '69 Camaro reflectors and lenses were added It's ready to roll to NNL EAST.
