70mach1 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Tamaya kit, 1:20 scale. All the wiring and plumbing details are scratch built. No after market parts were used at all. Refinished in PPG lacquers and DuPont urethane clear coat. This was a fun built, but very time consuming due to all of the weird plumbing details.
Dave B Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Very nice build, it's a shame this sereis is not 1/24th!
Brendan Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Outstanding job. Love the engine detail you did. I've done two of these kits and mine don't even come close to yours.
gunner Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Wow, fantastic job! What did you use for reference? What did you use for the clear fuel line on the engine?
Peter Lombardo Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Very nice, I love the details. I have that kit....one of these days I will get to it. Just a point for Dave, years ago Hasegawa did the same car in 1/24 scale. I have that one built and detailed....it builds to a very good look replica.
Chris C Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Absolutely beautiful, detail is spot on! Love the look of these Honda's and the transverse engine adds to the coolness. 4 thumbs up!!
