TheCat
I bought this kit for $3.00 at the club's last Swap-Meet. The kit was 99% done and painted. I liked the color so I didn't take the kit apart. I did polished the paint a bit and did the following: Added Bare Metal, Painted the Wheels and front grille, added the hood cables, a radio antenna and some girly decals and did a custom license plate with my daughter's name. And a couple of little detail painting. Here's the finished product. I named it "The Pink Lady"! David G.
That's a very cool frosty pink and a nice thought to finish it for your daughter. This could be a great way to get her interested in building. David G.
Modlbldr
I agree with David. What a nice gift and way to get her into building. It looks fantastic. One small suggestion, if I may. Buy some Elmers Clear glue. It comes in the same ole school bottle but it is a clear blue or purple (I've seen both). It won't turn your headlights white like they are. Looks great though.
