Tamiya Spray Paints

I'm currently using a Tamiya TS-38 (Gunmetal) and I was wondering what type of paint are these cans? Acrylic? Lacquer?...Also I noticed that if I'm not wearing a full breathing mask that these fumes hurt my lungs a lot more than any other paints even if I'm in a well ventilated area. I am also going to clear it so I was wondering what clear is compatible with these line of spray paints.

Tamiya's TS line of spray paints are acrylic lacquer. As for a clear, Tamiya's clear TS-13 works really well.

I can't stress enough that people really need breathing protection. The only time I don't ware a mask is if I am outside and there is a breeze blowing. Tamiya TS paints have MEK in them as well as fine metallic particles. It is not just the lungs that take a beating but the brain cells get toasted also and I don't know about you, but I barely have enough to get by now. Please take precautions!
