Jairus Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Plus it is autograph by el jefe.(Gregg) "El jeffe"? Classic!
Danno Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 "El jeffe"? Classic! Eh, we've ALWAYS called him that here in Phoenix. Well, that and other things ...
Gregg Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I do have a few of the original issues available. This will also be one of the ones available as a digital version. It's not a true PDF, it is a scanned, optimized, and OCR'd version. We were not DTP back then. I remember those days, doing everything, from start to finish, myself. Printing the proofs, printing the films, stripping, and then laying plates on the press I am so glad I did that, from start to finish on one issue. I don't of that many who can say that they have done that, from start to finish, the old school way. Those were the days. now, it's press a button and you pau. el jeffe... Dan, watch your back my friend :-) EditorsCornerMCM1.pdf
Jairus Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Those were prophetic words G, wish Jimmy would write something again.
Harry P. Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I remember those days, doing everything, from start to finish, myself. Printing the proofs, printing the films, stripping, and then laying plates on the press Actually you probably could have kept your clothes on...
lordairgtar Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Since I worked in printing once, I knew what stripping meant, but you guys just had to go there. I't's OK braddah Gregg, MCM is da kine.
