krishna.iskandana Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Hello again guys, Here's an old kit from revell, a '69 chevy camaro ss396 convertible. I lowered the ride heights, changed the wheels to 19" inch wheels from Aoshima, added resin disc brakes and wired the engine. The color is tamiya TS 14 black with tamiya TS 49 bright red for the Rally-Bee stripes ( rally stripes and super-bee stripes combo) and clearcoated with Mr Hobby Gloss Clear. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana
Green Duster Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Very nice paint! Nothing like a big block car.
george 53 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 OOOOO Krish, can you imagine what a REAL Camaro like THAT would be worth??? You did a GREAT job on it. That's what I like about model cars, you CAN own your dream cars, even IF you CAN'T drive 'em!!! GREAT BUILD!!!!

jeff ewaskey Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 That is a Camaro anybody would be proud of. The whole build is spectacular. awesome job!!!!!!!
TheCat Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 OK, I'm more a Ford guy, but the 1969 Camaro IS one of my favorite Chevrolet cars. I love ALL the different model styles (Z-28, RS, SS, Yenko, Baldwin Motion, convertible and the plain Camaro)of the 69 Camaro. I LOVE the custom design you've done to this one. GREAT JOB!!! I've built the following: Z-28 RS Z-28 Plain Jane with Vinyl Top I'm planning to build the SS, Yenko, Baldwin Motion and a couple of Custom ones. I just love the design and the body lines. They are so smooth and sexy!!
slant6 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I'mnot sure I like those wheels on that car, but otherwise I love it. Excellent work!
Danno Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Excellent build, but the 'donk' type wheels don't work for me.
Greg Cullinan Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I like this. Black and red, can't go wrong. Pretty but mean.
