Making up some fuel tanks using the dapping tool and copper tubing....

These fuel tanks will mount right behind the cab on the rear deck....

Randy, I need to go lie down for a little while. Those tanks and the exhausts are just stunning! I wish I had half of your imagination and 10% of your talent and experience. Just trying to imagine how you came up with this gives me a headache. This is just killer!

Hi Folks,

A very, very belated thank you to all that have commented on this build since the last update!!!!!

I am back on this one and will hopefully finish it this time with no more long breaks :(

Just read through the whole thread. It is truly remarkable. Will this still be a Diamond T, I saw you mentioning that a few pages back, or will it be like the Rat Wrecker?

Sorry I did not notice your question earlier, the rat wrecker I reference at the beginning of this thread is actually a Diamond T :)

I did move away from building a "rat" to make this a "custom Diamond T wrecker"

super cool updates man i bet you could do the real thing instead of a model but this is the best build I have ever seen and its all metal................. it has to weigh at least 20 lbs. awesome job.

awsome !!!!!!!!!!!!! are those the brass parts for ship builders ? funny thing is i was looking at parts like that in a big modelstore last week , loads and loads of cool brass stuff for sale that we can use on cars or garages :)
