mannyclub Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) Hello modelers! Started this one last week and just wanted to build a camaro. Simple fast build I guess. Im using one of my 572 BB engine kits, I used Spazstix for the chrome. Its a pretty nice kit but I wanted a 67-68 but didnt have one or find one around here so the 69 it is lol. Sprayed the clear this morning, just have to polish it out later tonight. Just have the motor settin in there for now still more stuff to do and add. I added a transmission dip stick and a oil dip stick. Transmission lines etc. Still lot more to do but here she is so far, thought i would share the update. Thanks for looking. W117monte Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Thats all the detail your going to add? This thing looks wicked! I really like the pullies and the drive belt. it looks very realistic.
Iron Fist Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Nice build, where did you get the engine from? Almost a shame to put a hood over that engine.
TheCat Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Love those 69 Camaro's. This is looking to be a great build. That's the biggest engine I've ever seen in a camaro. Can't wait to see the finished product. LOVE IT!!!

shatteredsoul76 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Man that engine compartment looks great. When will your website be up and running I wouldnt mind having one of those bad boys for a Nova kit in my stash.
mikemodeler Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 The April issue of Hot Rod Magazine has a sweet '61 Biscayne with a 572 in it that was built by Bryan Fuller, of Two Guys Garage fame. I think that will provide me with the inspiration to use the VCG engine I got last month! Need some updates Craig!
shatteredsoul76 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Please ignore my above comment, my laptop was in the middle of updating and would let me bring up your site correctly, all is good now.

Iron Fist Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Outstanding! You need to run a larger cowl hood to fit an air cleaner on. Edited February 27, 2011 by Iron Fist
