I have built this one as well and have the coupe and roadster in my stash. By the way, if you wanted to go more traditional, I'm told the chassis and running gear from the Revellogram '40 pick-up can be modified to fit this body. They are both 1/24. It's what I'm planning on using for my roadster.

I wonder why Monogram deleted the louvered hood and hood sides.Only the original issue has these parts.

What does the original issue box-art look like? I'd really like to get a louverd hood for this. 3" chop, 1" channel, Corvette C5 chassis, 4-cam Ford 4.6.......

Thanks gman. I'll be looking for one. I assume that the "fat fendered" version doesn't have a louvered hood, even though it's pictured on the box. Is that correct?

I just went through my stash and found the Orange Fat Fender 37 ford and it has the Louvered hood and a stock hood. this is the Monogram kit Bill.

Picked up the sedan and convert. w/ trailer and found platform is interchangeable. Having fun learning how to lower the suspension. Love the proportions.
